Reading No. 1:  Opening teaching by the Guides

Questions:
1.
Do we experience diseases because we contract to experience them before we come into earth, or are they random occurrences based on environment, food additives or other influences?

2. As we age, the losses seem to increase in many areas of our lives, from health, to loved ones, to material things and other areas. How can we remain conscious and at the same time buoyant and engaged? What is to be gained by engaging fully in the process of loss as opposed to letting ourselves become unconscious?

3. How can we slow down the experience of the passage of time? Are there certain strategies or practices to help us fully utilize our experience of time, that can help us increase the sense of being in the flow of time?

4. As we move through the second half of life, how do we know what our specific soul’s purposes are and if we have achieved them? Also, if we have not accomplished them, how can we facilitate that achievement?

5. How can we remain relevant to the world in which we live throughout old age?

6. There seems to be an unconscious mantle of aging that creeps up on us, even for those who have previously held no conscious belief in aging and who are committed to maintaining ongoing youthfulness in body and spirit. Would you assist us in a step by step process to maintain the freedom to participate in living fully without taking on the burden of age?

Reading No. 2: Opening Teaching by the Guides

Questions:
7. The subject matter of today’s workshop ostensibly drew this particular group of women together. Are there other underlying, common threads such as our past lives, careers or a future purpose that have contributed to the group’s connection?

8. How can we best cope with menopause and peri-menopause with their symptoms such as mood swings, depression, fatigue, heart palpitations, foggy thinking, hot flashes, sleep deprivation and breathing irregularities? Please discuss hormone replacement therapy and herbal therapy as well as possible openings to spiritual energy during this period.

9. What are the challenges and lessons and being learned from those challenges, in balancing the masculine and feminine within ourselves in the second part of life, when reproductive issues are no longer present?

10. Are we greeted by people we love when we die and do we recognize them right after death?

11. Do we have any say in the choice of timing or the manner of our death? And can we have an apprehension of the timing ahead of time?

12. From a cosmic perspective, does an individual have the right to assisted suicide?
