STUDY GROUP READING #145
January, 1999 OPENING TEACHING 1. What is important for us to know, or to focus upon in this last year of the 20th Century? 2. A number of Study Group members’ parents have died this year, including my Mother. We want to ask a question about the process of a person who has lived a full life, is ready to die, expects to see their loved ones on the other side, and dies a natural death that is without medical intervention. Our question is about the first few weeks after their death. What is their process? Where are they? Are they aware of, or thinking about their loved ones left on earth? 3. Can we learn to communicate with those who have died? If so, how? 4. What can you tell us about the legend of Atlantis? What is important about it for us today? 5. Human life is often seen as a condition that needs to be overcome. For instance, many Eastern religions see life as a wheel from which we should strive to free ourselves. Christianity believes in original sin and that our goal is to rise above our flaws so we can gain the prize of eternal life. New Age versions of this appear as people hoping that this is their last lifetime, while others see the souls who manifest as a human being as a "low ranking" soul, as if being human is a kind of punishment or "booby prize." Is there a larger truth behind these beliefs, or is it all fear and confusion? Would you give us a more realistic, and hopefully more positive view of our expression in a human personality? 6. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use for the coming month? STUDY GROUP READING #146 February 1999 OPENING TEACHING 1. Last month you beautifully described the journey of a person who dies a "normal" death as they go from personality structure to soul awareness. Can the grieving of the loved ones left in earth hold back that process? 2. If we wish to pursue the study and understanding of our dreams and we have nightmares or bad dreams, how can we get past the fear of nightmares or bad dreams? 3. Science has discovered a rare chromosome (XYY) in the physical makeup of certain serial killers and other career criminals. These people seem to lack conscience, remorse, or any emotions, positive or negative, even when raised in a loving, supportive environment. Science says that individuals with this genetic makeup are predisposed to murder, mayhem, and lives of crime. Do souls occasionally manifest certain human beings intending that they express negatively? Please explain the cause and purposes of such anomalies, and why certain infamous humans appear to be born to express negatively, unrelated to their environmental conditioning. 4. Before we are born, when our soul chooses our parents, do we also choose how long we will live? If so, how does this affect free will during our lifetime? 5. You have said before that animals do not have individual souls. If this is so, why do animals seem to have such distinct personalities? When we feel love for an animal, what exactly are we feeling a connection with? 6. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use for the coming month? STUDY GROUP READING #147
March 1999 1. You addressed this question in your opening, but I’ll ask it for a little more information. It seems that the souls’ plan for human beings was for us to essentially forget our eternal nature, past lifetimes on earth, and other higher realities when we incarnate in a human body. Why then are some of us now being reached on a conscious level with this fountain of information, love, and guidance that comes through Ron’s readings? 2. Can young children then remember their past lives if we encourage it? Are they more easily aware of their guides or their guardian angels than adults? 3. You have said that in the period of blank sleep, the souls are teaching us. Would you give us a description of the actual process of what happens during that blank sleep period? Is there a way that we can maximize that learning process? 4. Do most of our fears, worries, and phobias come from past-life experiences? What is the best way to heal such patterns from our past lifetimes? 5. If we have a certain personality pattern that we have carried from lifetime to lifetime, how can we know when we have fully healed that pattern such that we will never have to repeat it? 6. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? STUDY GROUP READING #148 April 1999 1. How do we train ourselves daily to recognize our intuition and to follow it in a concrete way? 2. Please give us steps to help us consciously converse with our spiritual guides on a daily basis. 3. Is there a way to access deeper levels of love and intimacy without having to gain this wisdom through pain, suffering and loss? 4. When we are moving ahead in our lives, how do we release the expectations, resentments and judgments of others, particularly those close to us, that hold us back from fulfillment and success? 5. Some of us who have experienced the guides, you, are interested to know about the relationship between the guides and the Christ force? 6. Where are our collective, primitive archetypes and early imprints to be found in our modern technology? And how can modern technology lead us back to the knowledge we once all shared? 7. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? STUDY GROUP READING #149
May 1999 1. When many of us think about violence, it is easy to say, and honestly believe, that violence begets violence, and that violence is never a good answer to a problem. Yet, in a specific situation like what is now happening in Kosovo, after the failure of diplomatic and peaceful attempts, it is hard to imagine not matching Milosevic's violence with physical force strong enough to stop his so-called "ethnic cleansing." When this kind of violence is being perpetrated against a group of people because of racial and religious differences, is it still true that violence is not a good answer, or, are there cases, such this one, where it is the only way? What is the highest and most morally appropriate response for those of us who are attempting to understand this or any other such violence and conflict? 2. To watch the events in Kosova is painfully reminiscent of World War II. How can we better understand such atrocities like "ethnic cleansing?" How can we as individuals help? Is there a danger of this war escalating and perhaps including more U.S. involvement? Could this war come to U.S. soil? 3. We know that each person goes through stages of growth in their life, and that in each succeeding life they encounter new challenges that they must work with in the process of transforming and illuminating themselves. However, from a larger perspective, does humanity as a whole also go through stages of awareness as it develops and grows? If so, what are the struggles that humanity is now encountering in its development, and how does this age fit into humankind’s overall journey toward ultimate spiritual illumination? 4. When we see a photo of someone who we know is in great pain, and we place our hand on their photo and send love, imagining that we are actually touching that person’s physical head in person, does it actually transmit that love in a way they can feel? 5. What about sending love to a non-human object, say a car or a computer, again with our hands? Can that actually help that machine to function better? 6. If we really trust in God, will we be taken care of like so many spiritual teachings describe? 7. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? STUDY GROUP READING #150 June 1999 1. There are documented cases of past-life regression therapy resolving such things as phobias, medical conditions, and relationship issues. Also, after past-life regression therapy, people have also been reacquainted with talents and strengths that they had in prior lifetimes, and have been able to bring them out more fully in this lifetime. Would it be valuable for most individuals to explore past lifetimes, and how could this therapy be most effective for people? 2. When there are a large number of people who die at one time, for example, in the recent earthquake in Colombia, are there as many individual soul reasons for their death as there are people who died? Or, is there a "group choice" taking place? 3. You have said that loved ones greet a person when they die. What about a young person who has no one from their present lifetime who has preceded them in death? What do they experience? 4. When we are facing a difficult decision in our life, is there a process you can suggest that can help us make that decision? 5. You speak so often about the importance of healing fear. What exactly is the point of healing fear? Is it so that we can live a lifetime without any fear? Is that really possible in earth? 6. What is ritual, and what is its purpose? 7. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? |
STUDY GROUP READING #151
July 1999 OPENING TEACHING 1. If a past personality has mastered a particular ability in one lifetime, like patience for example, why would the soul create a new personality lacking in patience, as you have suggested in a recent Study Group Reading? 2. Although our souls are free from the constraints of time, it appears from what you have said before that our earth incarnations only move forward in time. Why is this? For example, why can’t we reincarnate in an earlier century than our last lifetime, or return to the same time period for another lifetime? 3. Endings in life, and in relationships, can be very difficult. We often hold on to things longer than we would like. Is there something we could learn about this? 4. This is a question that could have been asked by many. I’m going to ask it the way it was written and ask you to address the answer to the whole group. One Study Group member writes: "I am truly grateful for all that I have, the things that money can’t buy. But, what am I doing ‘wrong’ in the prosperity and wealth area that is causing scarcity?" 5. If the souls had a perfect existence, as you have said, why was the physical world with all the pain, suffering, and negativity created? You have said that the souls did not intend for the physical world to have negativity, but why did they create a world where there was even the possibility for negativity to come about? Why didn’t they just keep on enjoying their perfect eternal existence? 6. Is there a particular pattern that is common for those who have completed their human experience on earth, and whose souls choose not to reincarnate again? For example, did they find a source of knowledge, such as the wisdom from the Guides, to help them complete their personal human evolution? Did those who have completed earth have a deeper curiosity and knowledge about spiritual matters, or could they have just bumbled their way through earth incarnations? 7. Please close with an attunement for us to use this month. STUDY GROUP READING #152 August 1999 OPENING TEACHING 1. What is the relationship between physical pain and growth? Can we make major inner change without physical pain? If so, how? 2. There have been psychic and astrological predictions that this summer, specifically the period from late July to mid August, will be a time of great importance for humanity. Some feel there will be great stress or social upheavals. Others see it as a growth opportunity. What is the basis for these predictions? Is there anything significant about this period of time, from a spiritual or an earthly perspective? If so, how can we best handle it? 3. It seems that where we live creates a certain group consciousness and also reflects certain choices and commonalities. For example, those of us living in Southern California have different perspectives than those in Iowa or in London. To what degree does our location affect or reflect our group psyche? And, to what degree do non-physical factors connect and influence us? 4. Children today are growing up with an increased exposure to violence, drugs, sex, and a lack of values. Would you give us advice on how to best parent and teach in this difficult environment? 5. You’ve said in a private reading for a Study Group member that we as human beings don’t understand the aging process well, and that it’s not strictly necessary for our mental processes to decline with age. Please advise us how we can stimulate our mind and body to use them to the fullest capacity. 6. The public reaction to the death of John F. Kennedy, Jr. seems larger than the man himself. Would you help us understand why there is such a profound impact from his death and why this unprecedented reaction to him specifically? 7. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? STUDY GROUP READING #153
September 1999 1. How do you prove to a doubter that there is a spiritual essence to life? 2. A number of people have been asking what will happen to "The Guides" when Ron is no longer with us? Will there be somebody to take Ron’s place? Will the readings with the Guides stop? Will someone else become the "live voice" for the Guides? Is Ron to train an apprentice to take over some day? What can you tell us about this? 3. Is it true that each of us has a "soul group" of like-minded souls that we study with between incarnations, and often reincarnate together as family members/friends across lifetimes? What is it about certain souls that draw them to each other this way? Are these groups fairly static, or does membership change as individual souls evolve? 4. Would you discuss arthritis, it’s cause, and any suggestions for alleviating some of the pain caused by it? 5. Please close with an attunement for us to use this month. STUDY GROUP READING #154 October 1999 1. There appears to be an increase in short term and long term memory loss in younger as well as older people. There also appears to be an increase in Alzheimer’s disease. Because they both deal with memory loss, are they connected? What are the causes of these dysfunction’s? 2. Does schizophrenia relate to a brain disorder, or is there a spiritual connection to past life memories? 3. Centuries old hatreds and distrusts between peoples are causing killings and destruction in several parts of the world. For example, in East Timor and Bosnia. How can the distrusts and hatreds be healed and cooperation, even love, be restored? What can we do to help? 4. In attuning to receive spiritual help, how do we learn to pay attention to the help that is offered, and at what point do we stop asking for help and enact the changes ourselves? 5. As we make connections to higher consciousness and feel the alignment to our soul’s purpose, moving beyond the ego mind, at that point, has human choice become moot? How do human choice and soul choice interact? 6. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? STUDY GROUP READING #155
November 1999 1. During a personal reading through this source, how much does the questioner’s state of mind, and/or the presence of stress in that person, affect the outcome, quality, or accuracy of the reading? 2. It seems apparent that hurt and negative emotions that are carried within a person can harm the physical body. Besides exercise and physical care of the body, how can we best clear out the so-called "bad" feelings so they don’t affect our health? Positive thinking seems to just shove them under, and doesn’t actually clear the negativity. 3. In a personal reading, a Study Group member asked why he cried so when he walked through the memorials along the Normandy coast, and especially in the cemetery at Omaha Beach. He had visited the site twice and each time had an overwhelming sadness and sense of loss. He was alive in this lifetime at the time of the invasion, but was only about 9 years old. You told him that his soul was administering to the dying soldiers during the invasion, and he has a vivid sense-memory of that. Would you explain how we can help others in very powerful ways while not having personal awareness of it at the time? Are we in some way a guide or angel, in the sense of being an invisible agent to others while we are alive? Does this take place while we are asleep? 4. Does each person share their personal spiritual guides with other living human beings, or are those guides exclusive to each individual? 5. Scientists believe that it is not possible for humans to travel at the speed of light. If that someday does become possible, what kind of technology will bring it about? 6. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? STUDY GROUP READING #156 December 1999 1. Are there any specific techniques to allow a teacher to be a more open channel when teaching a group, to empower themselves on the mind/body/spirit level? 2. How can we best help people who are dying to deal with physical and emotional pain, fear of death, healing past relationships, and overcoming regrets in order to make a smooth transition with as much spiritual attunement as possible? 3. There are many beliefs in our world that our thoughts create our own reality, and that if we can only control our own thoughts, then we have the key to creating the reality we want. Is this completely true? And, would we best benefit ourselves, regarding how much control we have over our lives, by just working on our thoughts? Or, is there more involved in the creating of our reality? 4. If we are expending lots of energy in a passionate pursuit, and we are getting frustrated with the slow progress, at what point should we release that pursuit? 5. In meditation, and in personal readings or study group readings, we often feel the love of the Guides and of souls who may have been parents or siblings of ours in this lifetime, but who have died. How can we use this love, pouring forth into us, to heal any remaining emotional hurts and pain created in these human relationships with those parents or siblings? 6. What kind of collective trends can we anticipate becoming mainstream in the next ten years? 7. Would you please close with an attunement for us to use this month? |
