A letter from Don and Paige Marrs about how to support Ron and Susan during this challenging phase of their "earth adventure."
Dear friends of Ron and Susan,
The other day, my husband and I were able to see Ron and Susan for a brief visit, and Susan mentioned that several people have asked about buying Ron's paintings. This is wonderful, and appropriate, and not surprising, since we now know that Ron will paint no more. We asked how we could help, and I asked if I could add a personal note. This is that note, which as you can imagine, is hard to write, so please bear with me as I stumble through this... We love Ron's art and treasure the handful of pieces we've collected over the years. They're so beautiful. As we look at them now, with even more appreciation, we're reminded of the many times we went over there for readings and found ourselves gathered in his garage, hearing Ron's joy about the series he just completed, or the painting that would be on a TV show, or about the layering of paint and the gold or copper leafing (is that the right term?) and how it reminds us of the pure spirit that flows into us all. So many memories... we find ourselves savoring the ways Ron has enriched our lives — priceless personal readings, retreats, books, tapes, CDs, transcripts — all with stunning wisdom delivered with such gentleness and care. |

And maybe you, like us, are aching to give something back. Each day we want to know how can we support Ron and Susan in this very real, albeit deeply challenging, phase of their "earth adventure."
One major way is to give Ron the very real personal experience — while he's still very much here with us — of seeing his art adopted into our homes. These pieces come from his heart and soul and his obvious talent, and it would be really cool for him to know that you also cherish this part of who he is. Of a more private nature is our desire to help make both Ron and Susan feel more secure financially. Obviously, Ron can't do readings anymore, which is so sad for all of us, but for them it means their income, their livelihood, has all but stopped. So buying a painting (or picking up that book or CD set) is a way to help them out financially and emotionally. You'll see purchase prices with each piece, plus an option to pay more if you feel so inclined and able to do that — but it's certainly not necessary. May you and all whom you hold dear be well.
